1-Day Short & Sassy:  Adventures in wide angle’  September 11th 2010  

Using short focal lengths only, we’ll have fun learning about wide-angle perspective & the impact it can have on your images.

Probably the most misunderstood lens you own. Be prepared to explore some uncovered territory…

 

1-Day Toronto Architecture:   Urban Architecture’  September 19th 2010

We’ll start at 12pm in the west GTA & travel to downtown core for a tour of some of Toronto’s Historic architecture sites, including the Bay st area & the Distillery district.

 

1-Day Fall Colour:   ‘Creating with Colour’   October 3rd 2010   

Held in Cheltenham & Belfountain areas of Ontario, this is an exploration of autumn colour & how it affects our emotional state & passion for photography. This area is full of creative potential for any photographer/ artist.

 

New! 4-Day Prince Edward County:       October 21th -24th & 31st  2010

Spend 3 days in the glory & beauty of the Price Edward County filled with photogenic subjects such as Wineries, historic airports & buildings, breathtaking roadside scenery as well as many great restaurants & eateries in one of Ontario’s best kept secrets.

*Evaluation day is held on Oct 30th

 

February Blahs:    Indoor workshop    Feb 13th 2011      10am – 4pm

Stay warm & cozy while having fun learning the art of photographing reflections & glass. We’ll play indoors with various reflective surfaces largely using window light to produce awesome effects. What better way to ward off the February blahs!

 

5-Day Algonguin Park :  Winterscape workshop  February 24th-27th   & *March 6th 2011 

This inspirational course held in Algonquin park is a must for any winterscape lover or anyone willing to discover the power

of winter imagery. With many great opportunities for image making, this is sure to bring out the explorer in all of us.

*Evaluation day is held on March 6th

 

1-Day Creating in the Field:   ‘Art in the Autoyard’       April30th   &  July 10th 2011

Explore the unlimited image-making possibilities of Art in the Autoyard. We’ll visit a junkyard with old cars, trucks,

tractors & buses. Call it a ‘textural tour’ if you will…The only thing holding you back is your imagination…  

 

  

*Evaluation Day   (Applicable on 4 & 5 day workshops only)

Held in the GTA (usually the following Sunday after the workshop), we meet for evaluation & discussion of your images.

Participants enjoy & learn from each other’s work and receive valuable critique. This is an important part of the visual design experience. Please make yourself available for this time, in order to keep the energy & flow of the workshop intact.
